everyone who has something whit witchcraft should shut up forever.i live in romania.and im a witch to.witchcraft is not evil.in witchcraft we have a hunter god and a fertility goddess.satanism is a form of christinity.we don’t believe in the devil or in hell.we don’t believe in heaven or the christians God.we work whit nature.we love the universe as we work whit it.witches who do harm are NOT witches.we have a wiccan rede and many rules.in the wiccan rede is a phrase>an important one: AND YE HARM NONE DO AS YE WILL.means : don’t harm anyone,do as you want.google: wiccan rede.read it.and after that think again about what witches are.ok?.and do a research about witchcraft.dont talk about it if you even don’t know what it is.ok?

Im from Romania also, and I have seen a couple of witches. If that is really what you want to call them. They are sort of like gypsies and yes they can do spells for bad and for good. They can also see the future and so forth. I don’t think that any of them will do bad spells because Romanians are really into like supersticious shit so if they see like a coin with a hole in it they will trip out and say someone tried to curse them, and it might be true. They also have reverse spells and to banish spells away that kind of shit. Also roxana is right it is not really that popular you would really have to know some people that know some people in order to get to even see one.

I’m from Romania and it’s not true that the witchcraft is legalized here…but it’s true that the witchcraft it’s practiced in the rural areas where the elder womans tend to do those kind of rituals for different purposes.That is the way they were raised,with that background but it isn’t legal and it’s practiced on a smal scale.

you ppl suck:)) i`m from romania and never heard of such thing…i would like it to be legal of course, but there are no rules concerning witchcraft as long as i know…withcraft is practiced and has been practiced since always especially in rural areas and never has someone come to tell a witch to quit doing her magick:)) because (from the high powers of a state) actually believes in it…it is not illegal to practice it:) i practice it as well and noone has come to stop me…there are some well known witches as well, who appear in newspaperss or tv and they are actually helping people…i think that the legal thing is actually the practicing as a medium or other things like that, i dont know what you are reffering to, but pure witchcraft (im refering to the witchcraft practiced in villages with black roosters and and blades put through fire and shit) has nver been made “legal” by any goverment because nobody actually gives a shit:) hope i have been useful in some twisted sort of way…oh, and excuse my poor english…:)

Okay, so it isn’t that bad, witch craft my “be bad in the bible” but if you think about it “God” have humans the right to free will. They can practice what they want, you need to not be mean or put down the people that aren’t part of your views. If we all had the same views as each other this world would already be gone. So, stop being judgmental this world has enough people like that. Learn to accept you neighbors, as it was written do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Why is it always the Christian whackos who don’t even know the heinous traditions of their own faith- yet are quick to down and denigrate something they don’t know jack about?
Christians are so stupid. Equating WitchCraft and Wiccan/Pagan Faith is pure buffoonery. Long before (read thousands of years)your Christ and Devil were on the scene Pagan faiths have flourished, waxed and waned. But on the rise again like the Pagan Phoenix the Paan faiths rise now.
Do yourself a favor Christians- stop the foolishness of crapping on something you know absolutely nothing about. Pagan/Wiccan/Witchcraft has nothing whatever to do with your ridiculous Devil! We don’t believe in Christ or your Devil either. Get a life and stop trying to destroy others and their faith with your bullshit. You believe in religious freedom only when your religio is dominant- hypocritical assholes.

Interesting. I find the commentary thus far ridiculous. Very few rational thoughts expressed. Either looking for the supernatural or looking at some deity or another to condemn the searchers. It all strikes me as quite silly. It shows that we aren’t much less superstitious than in any other country I assume. (Not really ragging on either view presented, just pointing out that this is more a sociological issue rather than a “my religion is better than yours” sort of thing).

I’m a witch. Reading the article, it appears to me that what Romania has made legal is working as a psychic. “Witch,” in this instance, is a marketing term.

I will point out here that nearly all witches that I know here in the US believe that the energy a person sends out into the universe returns to that person threefold. It may not return in exactly the same form, but return it will. I wish some of the other folks here didn’t fear us, but their fear doesn’t mean that we actually do the things they fear.
