Flashbag – USB Flash Drive with micro pump
Flashbag currently is a design concept coming from Russian designer Dima Komissarov.
The size of the USB Flash Drive changes depending on the amount of data it holds. When the device is about to blow up you will see the familiar error message on your screen: “There is not enough free space!”
When switched off the flashbag remains pumped up, so you can estimate with the naked eye how much more pictures, books and music albums can be transferred into it.

Marvellous.
I wonder if they will make it in different colours. I right fancy a green one with blue racing stripes and spots of pink on the base of the bag. A gold finish on the adapter bit would be splended.
I do hope it comes with anti-virus or some sort of protection, could you imagin the state if little wormlings or some kind of hidious creature bit it’s way through the bag.

Would that get rather bulky and annoying as you fill it up with data, though? I think that idea, although extremely cleaver, would defeat the purpose of small flash drives.

I think that seems somewhat pointless. if you want to see how much more it holds why can’t you just plug it in, if its not plugged in its useless anyway.

Referring to Julies comment, heres an example…
If a company or individual were to have 10 of these drives, they could easily locate one that would have enough space for their documents etc.
Its a bizzare idea but I would definatly try one out, just because the technology
