Veja Magazine – Get both sides campaign
Veja Magazine (Portuguese: “Look”) is the most circulated weekly news magazine in Brazil, fourth most circulated in the world.
The following ads combined words to make images. Words disappear as they form a picture, and there is somehow hard to believe they are still present
The ads were made by the agency AlmapBBDO, Sao Paulo, and won silver and gold medals on the 2005 Clio Awards.
Bin Laden – Dead or Alive – Gold Clio Award, 2005
The face of Osama Bin Laden, made from the words Dead and Alive.
Bush – Peace or War – Silver Clio Award, 2005
The face of George W. Bush, made from the words Peace and War.
Saddam – Threat or Pretext – Silver, Clio Award 2005
The face of Saddam Hussein, made from the words Threat and Pretext.
Castro – Tirany or Freedom
The face of Fidel Castro, made from the words Tirany and Freedom.
Victory or Defeat
Reads both the words Victory and Defeat.
Bomb or Bluff
Reads both the words Bomb and Bluff.
Suicide or Right to die
Reads both the word Suicide, and the words Right to die.
Heal or Sin
Reads both the word Heal and Sin.
